David has thirty years experience in arts development, delivery and management combining senior management and chief executive experience through commercial, subsidised and community arts sectors.
He has been a successful theatre practitioner and director (Associate Director, Everyman Theatre Cheltenham; Artistic Director Theatre Station Blyth, Northumberland). David started his career working as a practitioner with theatre companies such as Welfare State International, IOU Theatre and Pip Simmons Theatre Group and directing credits, as well as new writing and classic theatre work, include "The Tribute to Dennis Potter" in 1994 and two special celebrity galas at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts.
As the first Marketing Director at the 2,000 seat Birmingham Hippodrome David established the marketing and publicity department during two major capital refurbishments of the venue. Work included significant database development, TV and radio advertising, major press campaigns, sponsorship development and marketing research/audits.
David has also been Director of the Arts Management Centre (a business unit of The Management Centre) implementing and delivering national training programmes such as the National Arts Fundraising School. He designed and delivered the first national conference on the arts lottery in 1994.
David is accomplished at fundraising and bid writing for arts organisations having secured over £25,000,000 for the arts through public and private sources (including European, corporate, Local Authority, RDA and Charitable Trust sources).
He has been an adviser to West Midlands Arts, Northern Arts and South West Arts and a board representative for Curve, Playtrain, Midlands Arts Centre and Worcester Swan Theatre. He has been an assessor for the Regional Arts Lottery Programme and has been an assessor to the Arts Council for both Capital and Arts for Everyone programmes.

Gareth joined ArtReach in 2010 and brings extensive experience as an Arts, Events and Production Manager. He has been responsible for the delivery of aspects of many East Midlands projects such as Leicester Expo, Spark Children’s Arts Festival, Summer Sundae and Skyride Leicester. He was solely responsible for project managing Big Screen Live Site installations in both Leicester and Edinburgh and has also delivered a number of exciting and challenging art installations. Gareth has a BA Honours Degree in Arts Management from De Montfort University and from 2000-2006 was Events and Special Projects Manager for Leicester and Leicestershire Promotions.

Jenny has been working with ArtReach since summer 2007, focusing on marketing and research projects. Jenny has a BA Honours Fine Art from De Montfort University and has achieved the CIM Advanced Certificate in Marketing. She has worked as an Arts Administrator for Leicester City Council, spent four years as Marketing Officer at The Bonington Gallery, Nottingham and has been a Course Coordinator for the Dept of Design at Nottingham Trent University. Jenny has also been Chair of City Arts in Nottingham. For ArtReach Jenny has delivered key aspects of the Inhabit project, Somerset ECF Project, Creative Innovation and 2008 Carnival Seminar.

Joy joined the team a year ago and has over 20 years of experience in office and project management working in a variety of roles including the Leisure industry, Education and Pharmaceuticals.
Currently, for ArtReach, she is project managing an exciting programme of events for the Northwood Community Arts Group in the London Borough of Hillingdon, involving local families, children, care groups and senior citizens. Joy has managed the process and input for building client websites. She also plans and implements administration for ArtReach from the Maidenhead office.

Poppy joined ArtReach in May 2008 from Tate Modern to assist with the project management of Under Scan and with curation and project management of the Night of Festivals. She has been working in the arts for over ten years across a range of disciplines. At Tate she was responsible for coordinating exhibition and acquisition fundraising, including proposal writing for trusts and foundations and private supporters. Previous positions include Gallery Manager at an independent space in Brixton; Director's Assistant at Agnew's art dealers and Arts Administrator and Book keeper for Bigfoot Theatre Company. Poppy holds a Masters in Arts Policy and Management (Birkbeck) and a BA in World Art Studies (UEA). She trained at Arts Educational School, Tring.

Hannah has an Honours Degree in Philosophy from the Univerity of Hull where she also developed a passion for arts and cultural activity and events. Hannah joined ArtReach in 2010, based in the Leicester office.

Claire spent many years working in theatre and arts education as well as in a development role for Local Authorities (including Cherwell District Council and South Oxfordshire District Council). In South Oxfordshire she was responsible for initiating the development of the Cornerstone as a new multi art-form sarts centre including an innovative programme of public art and art commissioning.
Claire specialises in leading consultation and market research and in arts fundraising and has worked for ArtReach on many projects with a portfolio that includes Three Cities Create and Connect, Hertfordshire World Arts Platform, Mandinga Arts, The New Art Exchange, Waltham Forest Carnival, Bicester Garth Project, various Crafts Council projects, Fermynwoods Contemporary Art and the Curzon Cinema.

Carol has gained over thirty years experience in research, administration and office management in a variety of sectors, including marketing, legal, recruitment, travel and human resources. Carol has been with ArtReach since January 2004, based first in the Maidenhead office and now the south-west, and undertaking a range of research and consultation projects (including delivering consultation programmes as part of capital development projects)and administrative management support.
