ArtReach is delighted to have received a conditional offer of Arts Council England’s NPO status for the period 2018-2022.
This important endorsement from Arts Council England will allow the organisation to further develop its ambitious festival delivery, encompassing Journeys Festival International and Night of Festivals events. ArtReach also plays a valuable development role in the sector, providing support for a range of arts and cultural organisations across many regions of the country.
ArtReach Director, David Hill, said “We feel privileged to be invited to become an ACE NPO and look forward to enhancing our developmental work that promotes refugee artists and innovative commissions as part of our wide festival portfolio. In particular we want to further fulfil our mission ‘to make great art possible and accessible, connecting art with grass roots and diverse communities to forge creative engagement”
Peter Knott, Area Director, Arts Council England said: “ArtReach gives people the opportunity to experience festivals, outdoor events and performing arts across the region and we’re delighted to be inviting them into the portfolio over the next four years. It’ll be great to see our funding support six new projects – including two new national festivals – to engage more people across England with great art and culture.”
