Introducing our new Board team as ArtReach refreshes its structure to become an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation.
David Hill (Chair)
Founding Director of ArtReach and an experienced artistic practitioner (theatre director) and consultant.
David Hill has thirty years’ experience in cultural management, theatre and arts event direction, combining senior management and chief executive experience through commercial, subsidised arts and community arts sectors.
David has been an adviser to several Arts Council England regional offices and is currently a board member and Trustee (Vice Chair) of Winchester Theatre Royal (in which capacity he is Chair of Hat Fair, the UK’s oldest street arts festival) and Chair of Leicester Arts Festivals.
Recently retired Senior Partner of Price Waterhouse Coopers, specialising in auditing and international business relations. He has a wealth of business and boardroom experience stemming from his career at PwC where he was a senior global relationship partner and led their Governance, Risk and Compliance client offering up until his retirement in 2016.
Richard is also a Director of the Woodland Trust, a board member of Middlesex County Cricket Club and Senior Independent Director of England Hockey.
Co-Director of the Aakash Odedra Company, Aanand is an experienced arts professional and manager with strong roots in Leicester. In 2003, Anand founded Desi Masti, a Leicester based Bollywood dance school that became a recognised name in the UK Bollywood industry. Anand also sits on Leicester City Council’s Diwali Advisory panel.
Azam has over 25 years of experience as a strategic adviser. He is a Chartered Accountant with a MA (Hons) in Economics from Cambridge University and a Fellow of the ICAEW. He is now a partner in M-Cubed Accountants.
Azam is also a member of the Board of Phoenix Arts in Leicester, chairing its Finance Committee and a Member of Court at the University of Leicester. He has also been a member of the Advisory Board of OFCOM which regulates Media and Communications in the United Kingdom.
Vicki Arogundade specialises in marketing and project management and has built her career in the arts and disability sectors.
She is currently appointed as lead marketing expert for Culture Connects and she has a keen interest in diversity and inclusivity.
In her spare time, she manages inclusive events for adults with disabilities and shares her knowledge through pro bono consultancy with a number of Afro-Caribbean start-ups.
