Despite not achieving UK City of Culture 2017, cultural organisations in Leicester are determined to maximise the support of the City’s Mayor to enhance aspirations for arts and culture over the next eighteen months.
Key Festivals with an arts component have come together through ArtReach to use collaboration as a means to heighten quality and ambition. ArtReach is coordinating Leicester Arts Festivals as a new consortium group, and working with other key networks in the city to help drive plans for a special programme of culture from summer 2014 to December 2015.
