Lynn Simmonds

Lynn has 13 years’ experience in the not-for-profit and statutory sectors combining a range of experience in senior and programme management roles as well as consultancy projects. Lynn brings a wealth of experience of working in the arts sector.  She has directed the development and communications departments for arts and heritage charities such as Music for Youth, St John’s Smith Square and the London Festival of Baroque Music, and as a programme manager for the National Foundation for Youth Music she managed a major grants programme investing £2m per year in grassroots arts organisations. 

As a consultant, Lynn has advised several charities on ways to improve their effectiveness, measure their impact, and develop new income streams. While at New Philanthropy Capital, in addition to consultancy support, she was involved in delivering Inspiring Impact (a UK-wide collaborative programme supporting the charity sector to measure impact) and led a seminar series on impact measurement for the Arts Council England’s Cultural Commissioning Programme
