Project Description

ArtReach is working with Bournemouth Borough Council and Arts Council England to review options for the future development of the ambitious Arts by the Sea Festival, which populates a wide range of sea front and town centre locations and venues in October each year.

Arts by the Sea has a five year track record of adventurous delivery and in 2015 featured A River of Light by Creatmosphere, PixelPyros Digital Fireworks, Water Light Graffiti, Wet Picnic and Periplum’s 451, followed by an intensive Fringe programme.

Key partners are now focused on planning the vision for the Festival for the next five years with support from ArtReach to explore direction and delivery options. It is anticipated the options appraisal will be completed by the end of March 2016.
