Project Description
In early 2013 ArtReach worked with Sustrans UK to help review the organisation’s approach to public art and arts development across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The outcome of intensive, strategic work was a new Strategy for Arts that focused on development and delivery of some high profile new initiatives.
Implementation of the new Strategy has been supported by ArtReach through 2014 and has included brokering partnership with NVA and Phoenix Dance to enable the development and delivery of The Ghost Peloton as a major commission for the Yorkshire Festival (Tour de France). ArtReach is also helping to develop high profile projects in Wales with international artists Bill Fontana and Blast Theory and has been working with Sustrans to build a committed partnership in Birmingham to enable a version of The Ghost Peleton to be delivered in the city in 2015.
