We’re Hiring! Journeys Festival International, Portsmouth – Assistant Producer

We are seeking an Assistant Producer for Journeys Festival International, Portsmouth.


LOCATION: Portsmouth Office

This post is will be the logistical hub of JFI Portsmouth, delivering planning, working with partners, artists and suppliers, coordinating events, and communicating with the wider ArtReach team.  We are looking for a motivated, organised and creative project manager, with an interest and understanding of JFI’s key themes and aims to celebrate the creative talent of exceptional refugee and asylum seeker artists, and sharing refugee experiences through great art and culture.

You’ll be organising, supporting and event managing specific activity during the festival, including visual art exhibitions (Look Up), innovative projects (The Container Project), pop-up performances, artist discussions (Coffee Shop Conversations) and a live music programme.


Journeys Festival International celebrates the creative talents of refugee and asylum seeker artists, sharing refugee experiences through great art and culture. The Portsmouth festival works with an incredible portfolio of supportive partners including: Portsmouth Guildhall, University of Portsmouth, The British Red Cross, Portsmouth Festivities, New Theatre Royal, Artswork, Aspex, Portsmouth Cathedral and more!
