ArtReach is delighted to have received a conditional offer of Arts Council England’s NPO status for the period 2018-2022.

This important endorsement from Arts Council England will allow the organisation to further develop its ambitious festival delivery, encompassing Journeys Festival International and Night of Festivals events. ArtReach also plays a valuable development role in the sector, providing support for a range of arts and cultural organisations across many regions of the country.

In particular we want to further fulfil our mission ‘to make great art possible and accessible, connecting art with grass roots and diverse communities to forge creative engagement”

It’ll be great to see our funding support six new projects – including two new national festivals – to engage more people across England with great art and culture.”

ArtReach ( is a contemporary arts development agency based in Leicester, UK. ArtReach has a twenty year track record of helping to drive and support high quality arts initiatives. Founded by current Director David Hill, ArtReach is based in Leicester and works across the UK and internationally. ArtReach delivers festivals, performance commissions, public art, capital arts projects, strategic development and organisational support to the arts.

In 2017 it will be developing Journeys Festival International (, a refugee arts festival, in three UK cities with specific activity being delivered through the JOURNEYS European project in Rome, Palermo, Hamburg and Budapest. ArtReach also produces Night of Festivals (, a public access festival celebrating values of freedom and democracy. These two unique events are made possible through a series of local partnerships and through strong European project partners which will continue to be developed through 2018 through the VOICES European project.
