Corby Mardi Gras is back for a second year! A celebration of light and music for all the family.

Journey through the enchanted Thoroughsale and Hazel Woods. Take in the colourful lights and music as twilight falls in Corby….
Returning for the second magical year, ArtReach invites you to be part of the Corby Mardi Gras – a spectacular illuminated walk. Immerse yourself in light sculptures by award-winning artists Same Sky and discover live musicians nestled between the trees.
Enjoy entertainment from 3pm with a live music stage outside Corby Cube featuring Café Jazz,
Alright JACK and local talent Shape Dance. Free crafty workshops take place from 3-6pm for people to create light sculptures to illuminate a special community procession taking place at 6pm, starting at Corby Cube and journeying through the Woods.
A spectacular afternoon of family fun that’s sure to dazzle and entertain all ages.
The Corby Mardi Gras is a free event and there is no need to book.
PROGRAMME:
3 – 5.30pm – Crafty Workshops
Join award winning artists Same Sky and help to make the magnificent sculpture that will lead the procession. The Eloquent Fold will also be running a free workshop to create woodland inspired headdresses – FREE and suitable for all ages.
6pm – Community Procession
As twilight falls, the community will journey through the enchanted Thoroughsale and Hazel Woods. Immerse yourself in lights and colours and be a part of the magic.
3 – 8pm – Live Music
Enjoy entertainment from 3pm with a live music stage outside The Core At Corby Cube – Full line up announced next week! Line Up includes… King Brasstards, Alright JACK , Cafe Jazz and local community talent!
