Making a vision for Halton’s future activities and events is about to take a creative turn. We’re working with Halton Borough Council to discover what local people want, what they care about and what they hope for in their communities and Halton Borough’s future.

We’re asking people to talk to us about events, local spaces, the area’s history and all things creative in creative workshops to be held at Widnes Market, Halton Lea Library and the CHI Cafe.

We want you to join us and local artist Claire Pitt, from Hazlehurst Studios in Runcorn, as we use some colourful tools to create a giant map, a future vision of Halton’s creative or cultural activities! Everyone is welcome to share with us their thoughts at these free workshops.

Please help us make this huge cultural and creative map of Halton’s future. Tell us your favourite places to go and things to see when it comes to music, craft, theatre, dance, arts and creativity. We’ll make the map using colours, words, icons and landmarks. Come and tell us about your big ideas for future activity in the borough and what you would like to see happen.

This creative mapping will be used to improve the cultural strategy for Halton Borough Council and help decide the cultural activities in the borough for the next 5 years.

Join us at these open workshops with Claire Pitt:

Thursday 5th May, 11am-4pm Halton Lea Library, Second Avenue, Palacefields. WA7 2PF
