ArtReach introduces Daniel Williamson, Assistant Producer in Journeys Festival International Manchester, in the latest installment of ‘Get to Know ArtReach.’
Sum yourself up in three words…
Restless, Resilient, Creative
What do you do at ArtReach?
My role is Assistant Producer on Journey’s Festival International based in Manchester. I am looking forward to getting involved with the Look Up outdoor exhibition, the weekender live music stage, The Container Project and the Museum Take over event.
Why did you want to be part of the ArtReach team?
I believe in the power of art and culture to create meaningful positive change in communities and Journeys festival is a great place to apply this.
Your favourite thing to do…
Camping trips with my family, experiencing great art, swimming in the sea, playing records, eating sushi and beer tasting… all at the same time!
Who’s your hero?
My Mum obviously! Mum was a talented artist and teacher who was full of infectious positive energy and inspired many.
Best thing about Manchester?
Plans for the future…
Delivering plenty more exciting and ambitious creative projects in Manchester and beyond. More visits to Japan, hopefully exploring the south of the country including the south islands.
