Lydia is an innovative singer/songwriter, artist and Founder/Director of The I Love Me Project CIC. She has successfully produced and organised events that have been hosted at the likes of De Monfort University, Highcross Shopping Centre and featured in the Leicester Mercury, BBC News and ITV News Central.

Her passion and devotion to empowering the youth and bringing humanity together has led her to being nominated for various awards including ‘The Lord Lieutenant Young Persons Award’, Asian Voice’s ‘Most Inspiring Young Person Award’ and being selected by the City of Sanctuary to speak on behalf of Refugees and Asylum Seekers at the Houses of Parliament.

Lydia has previously served on the board of Crimestoppers, Saffron Young People’s Project, Young People’s Council and was hand-selected by the Lord Mayor of 2015 to curate and organise events in line with his chosen theme and requirements as part of the Lord Mayor’s committee. Lydia works for ArtReach as Festival Coordinator for Journeys Festival International in Leicester.
