Project Description
ArtReach is supporting the development of a number Hippodrome projects, primarily helping to shape project structure and deliver fundraising activity. A successful application has been made to deliver the Minimum Monument project (artist Nele Azevedo) in Birmingham city centre in August 2014, as part of the cultural activity designed to mark the centenary of the commencement of the Great War.
ArtReach has also helped to construct a heritage focused project to provide interpretation animation to the Hippodrome foyer, and is working intensively with the Hippodrome and Dance Xchange to build a partnership for an extraordinary European partnership project as part of International Dance Festival Birmingham (IDFB) in 2016.
It is anticipated that the IDFB project will be subject of a major application to the European Union to facilitate the delivery of a major outdoor work, Metropolis, in Birmingham City centre in May 2016.
