ArtReach continues to work and support the adventurous ambitions of Milton Keynes Islamic Arts, Heritage and Culture group MK IAC, with funding now in place for its fifth annual Festival event in July.
Art in the Park will be delivered in Campbell Park, Milton Keynes on 9/10 July, including a substantial parade delivered by Festive Rd, and with event management provided by ArtReach.
MK IAC has established new working partnerships with Liverpool Arab Arts Festival and Shubbak as it develops its artistic ambitions for 2016 and beyond. The organisation is delighted to be working with Eckhard Thiemann as Guest Curator, enhancing the support provided by ArtReach. These are exciting times in Milton Keynes as the city prepares for its 2017 50thanniversary celebrations and looks ahead to a bid to become Capital of Culture 2023. The reopening of an enhanced MK Gallery has also been bolstered by Ambition for Excellence funding for the City Club project. Milton Keynes is going to be an artistically stimulating place to be over the coming few years!
