In 2012 ArtReach helped Sustrans to review its art commissioning and arts programme activity, leading to establishment of a new Arts Strategy to complement Sustrans’ Vision to 2020.

Following adoption of the Strategy, ArtReach has been helping Sustrans to implement new plans, with an early success the collaboration (with NVA and Phoenix Dance Theatre) leading to the commissioning of Ghost Peloton from the Yorkshire Festival (associated with the Grand Depart/Tour de France 2014) in partnership with Sustrans. ArtReach is also supporting Sustrans with major public art plans for the Speed of Light  (Birmingham) and for Riderspoke (Swansea Bay).
