Project Description
ArtReach creates, programmes, promotes and manages a range of high quality local arts participation activity and events in London Borough of Hillingdon.
Since 2005 ArtReach has been nurturing the development of an exemplar, grass-roots community arts project www.northwoodcommintyarts.co.uk in London Borough of Hillingdon. Securing a range of funding support and contracting high quality artists and practitioners ArtReach has worked with local people to bring a regular children’s theatre and workshop programme to Northwood; to establish an intensive Summer Circus Skills programme; to provide an ongoing vintage@northwood programme of dance and textile workshops; to create new vibrant music and dance projects for young people; to initiate a Northwood samba group; and to deliver exceptional on-off projects such as the Community Canvas art work.
